Welcome Letter
Dear Students, Coaches, and Staff of the Great Plains Schools for the Deaf,
On behalf of the entire Arkansas School For The Deaf community, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you all for this year's annual conference. We are thrilled to host such a prestigious event that brings together talented students from various schools to showcase their skills in cheer and basketball.
Competition is not just about winning or losing; it is an opportunity for each of you to build lasting connections, demonstrate your best abilities, and exhibit exemplary sportsmanships. We encourage you to take this time to learn from one another, support your peers, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The spirit of sports goes beyond the field or court. It instills values such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and respect, which are essential skills that will serve you well in life after high school. Whether you purse further education, enter the workforce, or follow other paths, the lessons you learn through sports will help you navigate challenges, work effectively with others, and strive for excellence in all your endeavors.
To the staff and coaches, we appreciate and honor the time and effort you pour into students to prepare them for life on and off the court. You may never know the positive impacts you have on your students' lives. We see the dedication, respect, and drive that you instill in your teams every day.
We are confident that this event will be filled with excitement, camaraderie, and a spirit of friendly competition. Play your best and cheer with enthusiasm.
Once again, welcome to the Great Plains Schools for the Deaf Conference. We look forward to an inspiring and memorable event.
Go Leopards!
